The only thing I would want would maybe be a rom hack to change the sound effects and maybe change to CD quality orchestral music.but yeah, if you haven't sat down and given this game a chance like my dumbass did.you really should. This actually feels like the perfect mix between Mega Man X and Castlevania. I know there are those out there who have been saying how good it is forever and it's always managed to stay off my radar.but wow man, I feel like this should be praised like Mega Man X is. One demon, a Red Demon by the name of Firebrand, claimed 5 of the 6 crests for himself, and went to fight the Demon Dragon for the ultimate crest, the Crest of Heaven. So this time around playing I had the sound off and was really able to get sucked into the visuals and found it to be quite amazing. As such, the demons fought each other viciously for control of the 6 Crests.

With how everything is going now in the world, I've been redeployed to work from home as customer service, and in between (and sometimes during.shhhh) calls I've been going through, almost alphabetically, the SNES catalog. The thing is though, that this time around playing the game I was in somewhat of a different mindset and situation. The soundtrack itself feels somewhat lacking as well compared to other Capcom platformer, but it does fit the mood so I'm fine with that. The beating of the wings, the fireball, getting hit.it just doesn't mix well imo. I think the reason is that I personally do not like the sound effects used in the game.they all seem to be very isolated and above the music, so every little thing you do stands out more than it should. I've never owned the cartridge (sadly) but throughout the year I've fired up the rom to give it a shot and have always found myself being turned off. So I just beat Demon's Crest for the first time and wow what a damn good game! This is actually the first time I've actually even given DC a fair shot past the first round. I know there as been some questions and posts in regard to this before so if need be, by all means delete.
